**Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

-Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
-Assistance with special projects

-Emergencies

If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a great way to showcase your professional skills and assist Auburn University while gaining valuable work experience within higher education.**

TES is currently seeking participants to act as Standardized Patients (SPs) within the Harrison School of Pharmacy (HSOP). As an SP, you will serve as a member of the HSOP assessment team, evaluating student pharmacists to ensure they are prepared to enter clinical practice. SP duties include, but are not limited to, playing the role of a patient who interacts with a student in a skills testing scenario. SPs will be expected to memorize the specifics of a patient case and consistently perform the assigned scenario. Lastly, SPs will assist in the assessment and grading of pharmacy students within that scenario.

SPs work on a part-time, as-needed basis. All training sessions and exam dates are primarily held on week days, with some exams extending into the early evening. Most work days will be 8+ hour shifts, and exam events can be 1-3 days.
