Job Description Summary

Auburn University, Auburn, AL: The Department of Finance invites applications and nominations for a faculty position as Harbert Eminent Scholar and Professor of Finance starting in Fall Semester, 2016. In addition to high quality scholarly publications in investments, the candidates should be actively involved in a leadership position in a Ph.D. program and have joint publications with emerging scholars from that program. The instructional responsibilities of this position will focus primarily on graduate level courses. The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of the appointment and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent communication skills are required.

Minimum Qualifications

Selected candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in finance or closely related field with established credentials in the area of investments that would warrant appointment to an endowed chair position that would support appointment at the full professor level upon hire .
