Job Description Summary
The Auburn University, School of Communications and Journalism, seeks an Assistant Professor Public Relations (tenure track) at its Auburn, Alabama campus.
The Assistant Professor - Public Relations will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Public Relations, including public relations research and political public relations.
Integrate utilization of statistical knowledge and Big-data analysis in connection with research and social media analysis.
Advise graduate students on thesis and projects.
Engage in high-quality research as evidenced by regular publication, especially in peer-reviewed outlets, with relevant research specialization in the area of public relations and health communication.
Engage in service to School, College and the scholastic and professional PR community.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Public Relations, Mass Communications or closely related field.
