Job Description Summary
The Department of Communication Disorders at Auburn University invites applications for a twelve-month, non tenure-track clinical Assistant or Associate Professor in Audiology position. Responsibilities include clinical teaching of students in the Doctor of Audiology ( ASHA accredited) program, clinical outreach and scholarship. Candidates are also expected to participate in departmental/university committees and service activities. The university has a clinical career ladder for promotion as a faculty member exhibits professional productivity and develops local/regional/national reputation within the field of audiology.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Doctor of Audiology (AuD), CCC -A, at least 3 years of clinical experience, ability to supervise all types of auditory disorders across children and adults and be eligible for Alabama licensure. Clinical supervision experience is desired. Candidates must be eligible to work at Auburn University starting August 1, 2017.
