Quality Inspector

1^st shift – 6:30am-3pm

Temp Position – Approximately 3 months

Duties:

• Inspect mattresses for overall cover fit, law tag compliance and ensure correct FR (flame retardant) solution is applied, per mattress specifications
• Verify FR batching process is being followed (quilting, FR socking, FR capping, FR fabrics)
• Ensure proper covering procedures are being followed
• Document standards
• Perform root cause corrective actions

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of quality control inspection experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, and calipers
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
