Chancellor
The Board of Trustees of Ivy Tech Community College Northeast announces the search for Chancellor. The second largest region in the Ivy Tech system, the Northeast campus in Fort Wayne (www.visitfortwayne.com) has enrollment of 11,500, seven schools, 32 degree programs and an expansive, modern 26-acre campus. Instruction is offered at 21 sites in the nine-county region.
Affordability, quality academic instruction, and highly qualified faculty are hallmarks of Ivy Tech Northeast (www.visitfortwayne.com). The campus is a vital partner in the region, supporting innovative economic development initiatives, serving as a gateway for students who transfer to top-tier senior universities, and meeting needs of the technology-driven workplace. The Chancellor serves on the management team headed by Ivy Tech President Thomas J. Snyder, who oversees the nation s largest state-wide community college with single accreditation and includes 23 campuses across Indiana that serve more than 130,000 students a year.
The successful candidate in this national search will lead a thriving campus that is experiencing double-digit enrollment growth, significant physical expansion, and robust community support. An ambitious capital campaign has already surpassed its goal by 20 percent.
The Search Committee seeks candidates with a well established record of academic or professional achievement, history of increasingly responsible administrative positions, and impeccable leadership qualities. Earned doctorate preferred.
