Robotics Engineering Teaching Faculty

Widener University's School of Engineering invites applications for a non tenure-track faculty position at the rank of teaching assistant/associate professor or lecturer/senior lecturer in the robotics engineering department starting January 2021. Responsibilities include teaching and developing courses for the robotics engineering undergraduate and graduate curricula, and service.

Qualifications:

Earned doctorate or master's degree in robotics, mechanical, electrical engineering or a closely-related field. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching, industry or research experience in one or more areas of robotics engineering including, but not limited to, advanced manufacturing, process automation, autonomous systems, collaborative and adaptive robots; Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; Strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate engineering education; The successful candidate is also expected to advise/mentor students and to work collegially in support of the continuing growth of the robotics engineering department and the School of Engineering; Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
