Faculty Position in Gastroenterology. The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu/) at The University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology is actively recruiting a clinically-oriented academic gastroenterologist specializing in Motility.

The position will be primarily dedicated to conducting outstanding clinical gastroenterology patient care, in the field of motility. Area of focus for this position will be in the esophageal diseases, esophageal motility disorders and pelvic floor disorders.

Candidates must have an MD and have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Candidates must have experience in the areas of gastrointestinal motility disorders and pelvic floor disorders.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
