Associate Professor, American Politics and Public Policy

The School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego (formerly known as School of International Relations and Pacific Studies) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate professor in American politics and public policy, with an emphasis on political institutions and the policy making process, to begin July 1, 2020.
All applicants must have a PhD in the area of Political Science, Public Policy, or a related policy discipline conferred by the time of appointment. Please note that we are searching at both the junior and tenured levels. Successful candidates will have demonstrated research and teaching interests in American political institutions and policy-making. While we encourage applications from scholars studying all areas of Public Policy, GPS has particular interest in Health, Education, Criminal Justice, Transportation, or Housing Policy.
