Job Description:

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Join a team of high-energy media professionals. Plan, shoot, edit, and archive high-quality, instructional content in this part-time role.

WORK PERFORMED

  • Produces high-quality faculty media using good cinematographic technique and post processing editing skills
  • Instructs faculty and staff recording equipment and editing software use
  • Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots electronic and mechanical problems with multimedia equipment
  • Configures video and audio recording equipment to event specifications
  • Develops and executes project outlines and storyboards to align with instructional goals and with good creativity
  • Produces clear and concise instructional content for campus community
  • Responds quickly to direction in production level recording events
  • Remains up to date with the latest video recording and editing trends, techniques, and skills
  • Produces content for digital signage and infographics
  • Responds to media requests with good communication of processing procedures and best practices
  • Maintains and organizes a shared file system
  • Collaborates and communicates with team members on projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Associate's degree in related field and one year related experience or Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Must have a creative eye, knowledge of equipment setup and operation, and experience with post processing software
  • Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Windows and OSX organizational file systems
  • Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent)
  • Experience with screencasting software preferred
  • Ability to work well with instructors, students and team members
  • Regular attendance is a requirement of this job
  • Performs all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college's sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity

 

Additional Information:

 

Hours Per Week: up to 20
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; flexible schedule between hours of 8:30am-6pm
Compensation: $14-16 per hour
Grade: Hourly/temporary
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Open Until Filled
