Adjunct Instructor, Communications and the Arts

Position Title: Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary: The Film, TV, Games and Interactive Media Department of the School of Communication and the Arts is seeking candidates for an Adjunct Professor position to teach introductory courses in Digital Toolbox.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters in a relevant field and/or extensive professional experience. Should be familiar with InDesign, Photoshop and Premier and their uses within a media or related field. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Essential Functions: Teach Digital Toolbox, a required course for all Communication and Media Studies and Production students, as well as a core course. Teach students to create websites and blogs, manipulate images, and create simple animation and audio and video projects while examining the impact of technology on society.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters in a relevant field and/or extensive professional experience.
