Business Operations Manager


Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 60 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Located on the historic Eastern Shore, SU's beautiful campus is some 30 miles from the Atlantic beaches and 2.5 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Operations Manager.

Primary Job Duties: Provide logistical, administrative, and business support for global programs managed by the Janet Dudley-Eshbach Center for International Education. Under the supervision of the Center Director/Assistant Provost the position collaborates with staff in the three units that comprise the Center -- Office of Study Abroad; International Student and Scholar Services Office; and English Language Institute. The position exists to support growth and expansion in enrollments and quality of services in all three units.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience is required. Related experience providing business logistical support; writing proposals for potential partners; designing budgets for new programs; managing finances and audits. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Maryland licensing for summer camps for minors under the age of 18 and/or candidates familiar with the Terra Dotta software program.

Must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in International Relations, International Education, MBA, Education, or Other related field is preferred.
