Faculty of Cybersecurity (Open Rank)

Job Summary

The Turner College of Business at Columbus State University invites applications for a faculty position (rank is open) in Cybersecurity. The start date for this position is August 1, 2019.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include: developing and delivering quality instruction in the College's cybersecurity degree programs; recruiting and mentoring students; participating in university and community service; and collaborating on teams to secure and deliver grants. All CSU professors must commit to and engage in active learning.

Required Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Cybersecurity or a closely related field and recent industry experience in Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in practices that support the University's focus on student engagement, problem solving, and active learning. Candidates with interests in any field of Cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a background and/or experience in FinTech are preferred.
