Special Instructions to Applicant:
The Department of Fine Arts at Auburn University at Montgomery, invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Foundations and Core. The appointment is renewable depending upon availability of funds, the need for services, and satisfactory performance. The position is non-tenure track and begins August 2019. During the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 academic year, applicants will be responsible for teaching 24 credit hours or a 4/4 work load and will perform service to the department as needed. The lecturer will report to the department chair and have the benefits and privileges of a full-time faculty appointment except there will not be a possibility for Professional Improvement Leave.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts degree from an accredited Institution by August 01, 2019. One (1) year of college level teaching experience preferred.

Position Description: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses such as Two-Dimensional Design, Beginning Drawing, Intermediate Drawing, and Introduction to Visual Arts (a survey course of art history).
