Public Affairs and Civic Engagement Lecturer


The Center for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) seeks to hire a full-time non tenure track lecturer.

Primary Job Duties: Deliver the equivalent of 24-credit hours per year of instruction combined with administrative service within PACE, the Honors Program, and Interdisciplinary Studies. The PACE Lecturer will be expected to participate in advising, attend all PACE staff meetings, enhance community partnerships, create experiential learning opportunities, coordinate and oversee internships, and expand the visibility of PACE both on campus and in the community.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree relevant to the position and university-level teaching experience is required. Knowledge of AmeriCorps, nonprofit leadership, and civic engagement programs and best practices required.

Preferred Qualifications: Interest in overseeing the PACE Living-Learning Community preferred.
