Academic Coordinator II - Global Health Program

The Global Health Program (GHP) at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. GHP seeks a variable appointed Academic Coordinator II. The Academic Coordinator II (AC) position will contribute largely to the Masters of Arts graduate program which has been set up as a one-year program with two tracks, research and professional. The program will provide students with an interdisciplinary curriculum that educates them on urgent social concerns and equips them with the ability to understand and productively intervene in processes of health, illness and healing across the globe. The AC will work on overseeing the Masters program, making improvements and further developing each program and track as GHP ventures into its graduate study offering. The AC will also contribute towards development of the undergraduate program such as course development for the new BS track. With the launch of the graduate program and the already rapidly growing undergraduate program, the AC role will be working towards establishing UCSD Global Health Program as a distinguished program of the UC system and beyond.
