The Department of Counselor, Leadership, and Special Education at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a tenure track position in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin Fall 2020.

Candidates that are ABD will be considered for employment provided that their terminal degree has been awarded prior to their official hire date. Experience in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, teaching at the university level, license eligibility in Alabama, and a documented commitment to research and professional organization involvement are required.

Responsibilities will include teaching core counselor education courses, supervising practicum and internship students, engaging in research and publication at a level consistent with graduate teaching status, self-study activities, and service at the university, college, departmental and community levels.

The committee will review applications until the position is filled. Applications should include a letter of intent, vita, transcripts of all graduate work, the names and contact information of three references, samples of publications, and a statement of research.
