Full Time Course Coordinator
Virginia Western Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Education Support Specialist III position to work as a Course Coordinator in Workforce Development Services & Lifelong Learning (WDS). The purpose of the Course Coordinator position is to provide for the delivery and maintenance of career and technical courses that are routinely offered on an ongoing basis, including workshops, seminars, and related business activities. The incumbent will be responsible for the operation, improvement, and ongoing success of assigned courses. The incumbent will be assigned a slate of open-enrollment courses/programs to manage and will be expected to support other operations as necessary. Planning, scheduling, logistical support, faculty hiring and support, enrollment management, and the successful operation, oversight and follow-up with courses are key responsibilities.
