Job Description:

 

Successful candidates must be able to teach a wide range of courses including developmental mathematics, statistics, calculus, linear algebra, discrete structures, and differential equations. The ability to use technology to teach mathematics is essential. The Mathematics division values collaboration and teamwork. Candidates should have the ability to lead faculty teams and be available to teach both day and evening sections at the main campus in Columbia, MD and at the Laurel College Center, as needed. Faculty workload includes active participation in college activities including events that occur outside the standard work day.

This is a 10-month faculty position.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field is required
• Doctorate in mathematics or mathematics education is preferred
• Minimum of at least 3 years of mathematics teaching experience is also required

 

Additional Information:

 

Hours Per Week: 37.5
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10-month position
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus excellent medical insurances, paid leaves and tuition reimbursement
