The Center for Research in Education and Social Policy (CRESP) at the University of Delaware conducts research and analysis to evaluate the implementation and impacts of programs and policies designed to improve the academic achievement, health, and well-being of children, youth, adults and families. The vast majority of CRESP's projects are funded by grants and contracts, and most involve collaboration with faculty and professional staff across the University. The Senior Associate Director serves as CRESP's Chief Operating Officer (COO) and oversees CRESP's full portfolio of research and evaluation projects. The Senior Associate Director leads and coordinates efforts to establish and maintain funding, promote and support strategic partnerships, design and conduct evaluation projects and policy research, and works closely with CRESP leadership (e.g., Director, Associate Director), the College's Financial Services Unit, and individual project Principal Investigators to plan and manage staffing and effort allocations across CRESP's full portfolio of projects. The Senior Associate Director serves as the direct supervisor of CRESP's Associate Director(s) and Assistant Director(s).
