Professional Lecturer of Decision Sciences

Position Title: Professional Lecturer of Decision Sciences

Department/

School: Department of Economics, Accounting, and Finance/School of Management

Job Summary: Responsibilities will include collaborating with School of Management faculty to embed business decision-making tools throughout the undergraduate business curriculum, as deemed appropriate by the School's Undergraduate Programs Committee. The Professional Lecturer will also provide ongoing training and support to faculty, as well as assist with the development of a library of large data sets for faculty and students to use in their courses. They will also be expected to develop relationships with corporations in order to be able identify any changes in business analytics technologies used in industry. Candidates for this position must possess the ability to teach classes in both the finance and accounting disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold a masters or doctoral degree in a business-related field.

Essential Functions: Candidates should be superior undergraduate and graduate teachers. The candidate is expected to advise undergraduate majors and perform services for the college, school and department.

Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience is required-a strong working knowledge of business analytical tools, accounting and financial principles, and ideal candidates will also have college teaching experience.
