Job Purpose
Teach full load of courses including course preparation, grading, and supervision of teaching assistants and graders; serve on committees and other service in the department.

Teach full load of courses including course preparation, grading, and supervision of teaching assistants and graders; serve on committees and other service in the department.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or a closely related field by the start date of employment. Ability for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate or completion of all coursework (ABD) from an accredited institution in computer science or a closely related field by the start date of employment; teaching experience at the collegiate level or significant industrial experience; all areas of expertise in computer science will be considered, with a preference given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience in core topics including, but not limited to, programming, data structures, computer architecture, and topics traditionally associated with computer engineering such as microprocessor-based systems and software/hardware integration.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine month, non-tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2019. Three year contract renewable based on satisfactory performance review.
