JOB SUMMARY: The College of Nursing and Public Health at Adelphi University invites qualified candidates to apply for the Clinical or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health NP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach in an area of specialty, including courses across different departments at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Serve as program coordinator to support Director of NP programs with course coordination and development of clinical placement sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in nursing and a PhD or EdD or DNS in nursing (ABDs with confirmed completion date may be considered) for tenure track. DNP will be considered for clinical track.
- Certification as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and experience in simulation technology, online or blended learning, research, and education.
- NYS RN license or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Clinical experiences as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Additional experience in our other graduate offerings (statistics, research design, education, administration) as well as curriculum development and implementation across all areas.
