JOB SUMMARY:

The College of Nursing and Public Health at Adelphi University invites qualified candidates to apply for the Clinical or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health NP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Teach in an area of specialty, including courses across different departments at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  2. Serve as program coordinator to support Director of NP programs with course coordination and development of clinical placement sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's degree in nursing and a PhD or EdD or DNS in nursing (ABDs with confirmed completion date may be considered) for tenure track. DNP will be considered for clinical track.
  2. Certification as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and experience in simulation technology, online or blended learning, research, and education.
  3. NYS RN license or eligible for licensure in New York State.
  4. Clinical experiences as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  5. Additional experience in our other graduate offerings (statistics, research design, education, administration) as well as curriculum development and implementation across all areas.
