Job Purpose
Responsible for all aspects of the men's basketball program including practices and conditioning, recruiting, administration and budget management, player and public relations, fundraising, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes.

Essential Functions
Responsible for all aspects of the men's basketball program including practices and conditioning, recruiting, administration and budget management, player and public relations, fundraising, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Supervises assistant/volunteer coaches, student assistants, and managers. Schedules and makes arrangements necessary to fulfill requirements of men's basketball games. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Four years of collegiate or professional basketball coaching experience OR eight years total basketball coaching experience at a highly competitive level. Education and experience necessary to perform all the functions of a Division I Head Men's Basketball Coach. Commitment to adhere to NCAA and OVC rules and regulations as well as University policies and procedures.

Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for Division I head coaching including recruiting, practice and conditioning, administration and budget management, player and public relations, fundraising, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Coaching philosophy must be complementary to that of the Department of Athletics.

Salary Commensurate with education and experience.
