Manager, Campus Card Systems and Services

Position Title: Manager, Campus Card Systems and Services

Department: Information Technology

Job Summary: Manage and maintain the Marist College OneCard system, an enterprise system that provides students, faculty and staff with a single ID card for identification, door access, and purchasing goods and services from participating merchants on and off campus.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 5 - 8 years work experience

Essential Functions:
  1. Management and oversight of all financial and administrative services and operations of the Campus Card systems and services as well as all related systems and programs. These system and services include but are not limited to the Heartland OneCard program, Photo ID system, Door Access system, Campus Food service, and on and off-campus merchant program.
  2. Understand the system technology components that are critical to the performance of the program. These include identity and account management, mobile applications for wireless technology, ID card traditional and smart card technologies, photo identification card production systems and equipment, card readers, payment processing options, etc. Ensures the data remains secure with the assistance of the security officer and IT Security team.
  3. Set-up all system configurations, privileges, accounts, etc. Assess campus needs for system growth and implement system uses to better serve the college community. Keep current with latest advancements in relations to campus card services and advise as to new service implementation.
  4. Works with support teams to identify systems, server, or process issues that may hinder the performance and or dependability of the overall services; door access, meal plans, on and off campus retail operations for the Marist Money program. Oversee all financial transactions, system administration and hardware/software upgrades and maintenance of all systems and services.
  5. Acts as project manager when integrations between OneCard and other college systems (including but not limited to Banner, Cognos, Lenel, ID Works) are required. Act as a liaison with vendors, suppliers, and on and off campus merchants. Maintain an excellent working relationship between the Business Office, Housing, Dining Services and act as the liaison between these offices.
  6. Identification and development of new and innovative OneCard based services to enhance the campus experience, marketing OneCard services to expand internal/departmental and external merchant adoption and cardholder usage. Manage training for other college offices on applications, equipment, and uses of the system. Develop, implement and enforce all card services policies and procedures as agreed upon by the management team.
  7. Resolve any program financial issues with students or families. Assist with the development and monitoring of the department budget. Update operational documentation accordingly including IT disaster recovery plans
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Marist leadership team
