Modern European History / Jewish Studies

Modern European History / Jewish Studies

 

The Department of History at Davidson College invites applicants for a full-time, 2-year visiting position in Modern European and/or Russian History with a strong emphasis in Jewish Studies. The successful candidate will offer courses at both introductory and advanced levels and should expect to participate in the college’s Writing Program. The regular teaching load is 5 courses per year.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching, have a compelling research agenda, and should have Ph.D. in hand (or nearly so) by August 2019.
