Assistant Professor of Criminology

Assistant Professor of Criminology, Lander University

Lander University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminology to begin in August 2019. Ph.D. in Criminology or Criminal Justice is strongly preferred, but ABDs will be considered. College-level teaching experience preferred.  We seek a candidate with the ability to teach courses within our major’s core requirements, and the area of specialization is open.
 
Criminology is one of Lander’s Signature Programs and continues to grow with student interest.  Our Criminology major is built upon giving our majors a wide understanding of the field, with strong foundations in theory and research and emphasizing experiential learning and applied work. We are looking for a dynamic teacher-scholar who will mentor and advise students. Summer teaching assignments are available.
