Assistant/Associate Director of Research, Reporting and Analysis

Position Title: Assistant/Associate Director of Research, Reporting and Analysis

Department: Office of College Advancement

Job Summary: Reporting jointly to the Director of Development Research and the Director of Advancement Services, the Assistant /Associate Director of Research, Reporting and Analysis plays an important role in the Advancement team's overall fundraising efforts and promotes the effective use of the Banner Advancement database system.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree along with 3-5 years of experience required, preferably in a higher education setting. Experience with Banner and Argos preferred.

Essential Functions:
  • Work closely with the Director of Development Research to identify, research and rank potential prospects
  • Prepare written reports regarding prospects and donors to inform gift officers and assist them in preparing for development visits
  • Generate key performance metric reports and provide analysis of institutional data to identify philanthropic patters and giving trends
  • Work in close collaboration with the Director of Advancement Services to promote the use of Banner and provide support for work with third-party software (Campus Call, iModules, Give Campus, Evertrue, etc.)
  • Develop, implement and maintain reports to track gift officer performance, fundraising and campaign progress
  • Generate lists and reports as needed for front-line fundraisers and alumni relations staff in all facets of their work
  • Assist with the design of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials

Preferred Qualifications: Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be a team player with the ability to analyze data, solve problems and handle multiple projects at the same time.
