Site Coordinator for Community Health at USM Hagerstown


The Baccalaureate of Science Community Health Program at Salisbury University is accepting applications for the position of Site Coordinator for Community Health at USM - Hagerstown. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month contract position.

Area(s) of Specialization: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs; public health research; epidemiology; US healthcare and public health policy.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: Teach discipline specific courses using distance learning technology. Serve as the initial contact for potential USM-Hagerstown students, work collaboratively with the program director to admit qualified students, and serve as the academic advisor for students at USM-Hagerstown. Support on-site adjunct faculty. Assist in on-going accreditation process. Actively participate with main campus faculty and administrators by attending meetings and taking part in relevant committees as they relate to students or program objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field; CHES/MCHES certified or eligible.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience teaching public health at the post-secondary level.
