Faculty Positions in Gastrointestinal Oncology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology (http://med.ucsd.edu) in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division is actively recruiting clinicians to build and expand our Gastrointestinal Malignancies team, with focused interests in colorectal cancer and/or other gastrointestinal cancers.

The Gastrointestinal Oncology Program at the Moores Cancer Center is multidisciplinary in nature and represents the busiest single disease based cancer program at UC San Diego.

Selected candidate(s) will continue to help expand this robust program, with a commitment to excellence in patient care and participate in the educational activities of the Division.

Candidates must have an MD. Candidates must also have a track record of successful clinical trials leadership or translational research. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Medical Oncology, and must be eligible for a State of California medical license.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
