Columbus State University has an opening for a Part-Time Box Office Coordinator in the Department of Theatre.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing box office operations and ticket sales; greeting and assisting patrons in person and over the phone with ticket purchases while upholding box office policies; reconciling financials; maintaining confidentiality of personal information; communicating with the Department of Theatre Administrative Assistant about sales reports and deposits; coordinating with the Springer Opera House regarding ticketing software issues; and overseeing student employees. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, promoting group sales and outreach to the general public and corporate supporters, as well as promoting season ticket options.
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) from an accredited college or university; excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; integrity in dealing with monetary tasks; and experience with word processing is essential.
Proposed Salary
The salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position is 19 hours or less per week.
