Job Purpose
Assist the Warehouse Manager in all jobs necessary to maintain the warehouse and its essential functions required by the University.
Essential Functions
Provide the necessary support to the Warehouse Manager to effectively run the warehouse on a day-to-day basis. Utilize the inventory software (TMA) to maintain the warehouse inventory, process tickets and perform weekly cycle counts to keep quality inventory standards high for auditing purposes. Physically receive, verify and record all warehouse inventory and other University shipments delivered to the warehouse. Oversee materials ordered by the University Project Managers and work with contractors for all pickups. Monitor the metal and trash bins for necessary disposal. Assist the Manager by selling all University property on GovDeals. Assist the Manager in overseeing the warehouse surplus area. Utilize extensive forklift experience and knowledge to unload daily shipments and deliver sensitive and expensive equipment to faculty and staff on campus.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of relevant experience. Strong communication skills to work with faculty, staff and co-workers. Computer knowledge necessary to utilize the warehouse's inventory system and GovDeals auction website. Extensive forklift experience unloading freight, examining its condition, and delivering shipments on campus, as needed.

Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience; Clerical & Support Pay Grade 6.
