African History - Assistant/Associate Professor

This is a tenure-track position in the Department of History, 3-3 teaching load, with expectations about scholarly development and university/community service. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable commitment to understanding and promoting diversity.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach an African survey course and courses in African history. Candidates must demonstrate a scholarly trajectory in keeping with departmental expectations. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable commitment to understanding and promoting diversity.
