This position is part of the Southwest Borderlands Initiative (https://provost.asu.edu/initiatives/southwest- borderlands) which seeks to strengthen scholarship on Latinx and/or Native Americans in the Southwest region. Areas of specialization are open but preference will be given to the following areas: immigration, gender, race and ethnicity, health, and environment/sustainability.
