Visiting Assistant Professor, Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Wheaton College in Norton, MA invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning in the Fall of 2019. This two-year appointment may be renewable, contingent upon satisfactory annual reviews.

We seek a colleague who shares our commitment to liberal arts education in the context of a gender-balanced, culturally diverse curriculum and community. Our eleven-member department provides a supportive intellectual and social context for the development of new colleagues. All candidates should be prepared to teach three courses per semester, including topics such as Lifespan Development, Adolescent Development, Introductory Psychology, Statistics for the Social Sciences, Quantitative Research Methods, and an upper-level course in an area related to developmental psychology. Research facilities and funds to support scholarship will be made available.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a PhD at the time of appointment.
