JOB SUMMARY: The College of Nursing and Public Health at Adelphi University invites qualified candidates to apply for the Clinical or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position specializing in Adult Health Nursing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach in an area of specialty, including courses across different departments at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Assist with administrative activities, based on candidate skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in nursing and a PhD or EdD or DNS in nursing (ABDs with confirmed completion date may be considered) for tenure track. DNP will be considered for clinical track.
- Certification as Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
- NYS RN license or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Strong clinical background in Medical Surgical Nursing, preferably as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in simulation technology, online or blended learning, research, and education. Additional experience in our other graduate offerings (statistics, research design, education, administration) as well as curriculum development and implementation across all areas.
