Position in Project/Supply Chain Management: The University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management to start in August 2019. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a specialization in the area of Project Management defined by research and publications.

Responsibilities:  Faculty members normally teach three courses per semester at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, both on-ground and on-line.  The Barney School offers both day and evening classes. In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to engage in scholarly activities; participate in Departmental, School, and University service; and develop partnerships within the local business community. 

Expertise and Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a doctoral degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related area. ABD candidates with documentation of degree completion prior to June 2019 will also be considered.  Candidates must demonstrate potential to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management. Candidates must also demonstrate evidence of scholarly activities and potential for superior teaching, both on-ground and on-line, employing appropriate pedagogical technologies. PMP certification is desirable.
