Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and managing, in conjunction with the ACT director, the support representatives for all academic and administrative area. Assisting the Director of ACT with Helpdesk and ACT Tier 3 management in limited capacities. Provides oversight, advisement, and consultation regarding projects assigned to the position. Provides administration and maintenance of ITS technology for all departments of ITS which including ACT, NetOps, EAS, CISO, Systems, and ITS Administration Office. Management of budgets, procurement, and project management for ACT as assigned by the ACT Director. Development of policies and standards used by the respective ACT support representatives in order to provide consistent baseline levels of service to academic and administrative areas of campus.

Essential Functions
Management and oversight of ACT support representatives for Academic and Administrative units which includes analysis, assessment, consulting, reviewing, and advising. Updating, revising, and programming pages on the ITS website and other resources. Administering, programming, and maintenance of ITS Technology. Development of policies and standard baseline for ACT College and Administrative area representatives. Assigned budgets, procurement, and project management for ACT. Researching new technologies for standardization of campus solutions providing consolidation of resources, cost reductions, and planned procurement schedules.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or a related IT field. Five years of directly-related experience in providing this position's essential functions in a higher education setting and or equivalent functions in the Information Technology Industry. Familiar with programming, deployment, and analysis techniques for both Mac OS X and Windows, as well as common software applications.

Preferred Qualifications
IT technology and/or management certifications. Experience with various Operating System platforms including Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, iOS, Android, Linux, and Unix. Experience with enterprise level deployment and management technologies such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Apple School Manager, and or Jamf.

Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience; Administrative Pay Grade AD47 .
