Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Biology, College of Arts & Sciences, Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ) seeks qualified candidates for a newly authorized, full-time position as a Lecturer in Neuroscience (open rank), beginning in Fall, 2019. The appointment is full-time, non-tenure track with a renewable multi-year contract. The Department of Biology has 48 full-time faculty serving more than 1,750 majors and students from associated university programs at Loyola s Lake Shore Campus on Chicago s north side. This is a non-tenure-track, full-time teaching position that involves teaching courses in Neuroscience in support of the interdisciplinary Neuroscience Major (https://www.luc.edu/neuroscience/index.shtml) and other undergraduate courses. Standard teaching load for Lecturers at any rank is 4 courses a semester.

Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will have a PhD and proven excellence in teaching at the college level.
