Job Purpose
Lead the faculty and staff of a diverse academic department that includes economics, finance, marketing, and international business.

Essential Functions
Administration of a diverse department of 12 faculty and one administrative assistant. Conduct course and program scheduling, long-term strategic planning, curricular oversight, and assurance of learning, teaching, research, and service to the academic community.

Minimum Qualifications
A doctorate in Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field from an AACSB accredited school. Five years of full-time undergraduate and graduate teaching experience and a record of refereed publications and professional service commensurate with appointment as an associate or full professor consistent with AACSB standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with other academic departments and operational units. Demonstrated ability to form effective partnerships across campus and the business community. Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills and accomplishments.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching online and/or hybrid courses. Economics background with consideration given to other disciplines housed within the department.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure/tenure-track position to begin August 2019.
