Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work - Hagerstown, MD


The School of Social Work at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a faculty position of Clinical Assistant Professor. This is a full-time, ten-month position located at the University System of Maryland in Hagerstown, MD with an anticipated start date of January 2019.

Primary Job Duties: Responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses utilizing effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners. The successful candidate will be expected to advise students, engage in scholarly work in social work, and provide service to the department and the university.

Minimum Qualifications: A Masters in Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited institution with a minimum of two years of post-MSW professional practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of teaching experience at the college/university level.
