ASSOCIATE DEAN OF STUDENT AFFAIRS/DEPUTY TITLE IX COORDINATOR

 

The College is seeking experienced candidates for the Associate Dean of Student Affairs/Deputy Title IX Coordinator position. The Associate Dean will create, plan, and administer the fall, spring and summer cultural and social co-curricular programs of lectures, concerts, dances, film, art exhibits, coffeehouses, drama productions and other programs of interest to the College and community, which is approximately 150 programs per year.  This includes participation in selection, contractual negotiation and execution, promotion, organization, payment, supervision and evaluation of these events..  The successful candidate will share the approval and administration of the budget and expenditures of all student activity fees as well as supervise full-time and part-time staff members.. You will also conduct Title IX investigations and makes recommendations the Dean of Students Affairs

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in college student personnel, higher education leadership or related area
  • At least five years of progressively more responsible experience in coordinating and advising student involvement or multicultural affairs, developing and implementing cultural programs, and/or leading student government or leadership programs, preferably at the community college level. 
  • Evidence of work experience incorporating a global perspective and demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity in higher education. 
  • Demonstrated intercultural knowledge and competence.
