Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant or associate level in Political and/or Liberation Theologies, beginning August 2019.

The successful applicant would have the ability to teach courses in several IPS programs, in particular social justice. Moreover, the successful applicant will bring an earned doctorate in a related field. Expertise in Political and/or Liberation Theologies as well as a strong record of (or clear potential for) excellence in research, teaching, distinguished scholarship, and student mentorship is desired.

Qualifications
Candidates must be supportive of Loyola s Catholic and Jesuit mission. Now in its sixth decade as one of the premier academic programs in education for ministry, the IPS contributes vitally to this mission, offering Masters Degrees in pastoral studies, divinity, spirituality, pastoral counseling, counseling for ministry, and social justice.
