Position Summary:
Attends to housekeeping needs and assures a clean, sanitary and safe environment in the Dining Centers and in other assigned areas in Dining Services. Duties include floor maintenance, dusting and cleaning, gathering and removal of trash, snow and ice removal from entranceways and sidewalks, removing leaves and replenishing supplies. Operates powered and manual cleaning equipment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and assigned keys.

Required Qualifications:
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills for interaction with employees, students, and visitors at a large university campus. Knowledge of commercial/industrial cleaning methods. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cleaning of institutional, domestic, or commercial areas preferred.
