Part Time Technical Assistant - Law Admissions

Part Time Technical Assistant - Law Admissions

Job Description:

This position reports to the Office Manager in the Law School Admissions Office. This position is primarily responsible for inventory management, recruitment mailings, printing and emailing admit batches, and answering the phone and emails.

Responsibilities:

  • Input admit decisions, seat deposit dates and scholarships into Prepare admission documents and communications including admit letters; email and mail admit decisions to applicants.


  • Maintain and track office Organize and mail recruitment shipments. Manage copier and make sure different papers are well stocked and projects are printing on correct paper.


  • Greet visitors, answer the main admissions phone, and respond to emails in the general inbox for specified hours daily. Scan and attach all relevant hard copies of documents to applications.


  • Create name badges, seating assignments, incoming student packages and all other relevant documents for admission Coordinate efforts with other departments. Work at events. Pack and track several large mailings to prospective and admitted students, as needed.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.


  • Minimum of at least three years' professional experience is preferred.


  • Possess excellent technological, operational and customer service skills (preferably experience in Banner system).


  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment


  • Occasional over-time hours required.
