Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (In Residence, Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical) - Orthopaeadic Hand Surgeon

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is recruiting for a highly qualified board certified/eligible Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon.
Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching and research at the UC San Diego Health and the VA San Diego Healthcare System.
Candidates must have an MD or DO, or PhD in related orthopaedic studies. Candidates with an MD must have completed a US accredited residency training program in Orthopeadic Surgery at the time of application and must have completed a fellowship training in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery. Candidates with an MD must be able to obtain an unrestricted California medical license and be Board certified or Board eligible.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
