The Department of Political Science and Geography and the Graduate Program in International Studies ( GPIS ) at Old Dominion University invite applications for an Associate Professor position in Political Science and International Studies to begin July 25, 2019. The department and program seek a specialist in Middle Eastern Politics. We also seek a scholar who specializes in one or more of the following subfields: International Relations Theory, Transnationalism, and the Politics of Energy.

Preference will be given to candidates whose scholarly profile complements existing coverage in the department and GPIS . The successful candidate will have a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
