The Department of Psychiatry at the UC San Diego School of Medicine is committed to academic and clinical excellence and diversity within our faculty, staff, and trainees. The Department (http://psychiatry.ucsd.edu) is currently seeking a clinical psychologist experienced in the delivery of treatment services to individuals suffering from addictions and other mental disorders. Applicants must have completed an APA-accredited Doctoral Program which includes completion of an APA-accredited internship. Applicants must be licensed in California. Applicants must have experience in assessment, individual, family and group therapy for patients with co-occurring substance use and other mental disorders. Applicants must be knowledgeable about harm reduction strategies, self-help approaches and delivery of evidence based practice. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong track record in clinical care, teaching/supervising, and an interest or experience in clinical research on addiction.
