Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, Adj, In-Residence) - Colorectal Surgery

The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery,(http://surgery.ucsd.edu ) Division of Colorectal Surgery is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and seeks full-time academic surgeon(s) specializing in colorectal surgery.

The Division of Colorectal Surgery at UC San Diego Health System has a strong national reputation in the areas of minimally invasive colorectal disease, rectal cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease. We are interested in building our national presence in these areas as well as in the areas of pelvic floor disease and outcomes research while maintaining a strong clinical footprint regionally and nationally. The individual will participate in the clinical programs and educational activities of the Section, including resident teaching, multi-institutional research, and University service.

Candidates must have an MD and must be board certified or eligible in Colorectal Surgery and must be eligible for a State of California medical license. Candidates also must have excellent clinical, teaching and research skills.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
