Postdoctoral Research Associate in Theoretical High Energy Physics


The High Energy Theory Group in the Physics Department at the University of Connecticut is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This group is particularly interested in candidates working in the fields of lattice gauge theory and quantum field theory, but all applicants in high energy theory are encouraged to apply.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Ph.D. (or equivalent foreign degree) in theoretical high energy physics (or closely related field) before the anticipated start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A strong research record in theoretical high energy physics.

APPOINTMENT TERMS

This position has an anticipated start date of September 1, 2019 and is for an initial duration of one year, renewable for an additional year, contingent on satisfactory performance, mutual agreement, and availability of funds.
